IT Department was started in 1988 with Xenix based
server duly connecting three number of terminals. Since then, pertaining
to the requirements, it has been expanding its horizons owing to the
integrated development of multi-platform Environment.
Computer Department now is being sufficed by Infrastructure and capable
enough to handle needfull requirements of the Municipal Corporation.

It is located in the main block of the Corporation
with an extent of 2000 sft and equiped with around 200 number
of Desktop Systems which inturn connected to the servers of multiple
platforms like NT,Unix,Linux.
This Department is Owing to its expansions,
presently, it is maintaining around 3kms Local Area Network and
Established a Connectivity up to 40kms(approx) Metro area Network.
Services of Municipal Corporation mainly cater to the needs of the
public like Online Birth and Death Registration, Online Tax Collection
and many more. In Addition to the above, huge data processing is
being done.
